6th grade book Report

I read Closed for the Season by Mary Downing Hahn. There are 182 pages in this book. I
found this book at the book fair last year and it looked like a mystery and I like mysteries.

The main character of this book is a boy named Logan. Logan is a 6th grader at Oak View Middle School. He just moved to a new town and has already made a friend, Arthur Jenkins. Logan just moved in to the old house right next to Arthur and Arthur is a smaller kid than Logan and he lives with his grandmother, but they are the same age. Arthur likes to re ad and explore. Logan just likes to stay in the house all summer with his nose in a book.

Logan discovered that an old woman was murdered 10 years ago in the house that him and his family moved into. The case was never solved. The police never found the killer. Now Logan and Arthur are demented to find the killer of the old woman who once lived in the house.

I give this book 5 stars and I would recommend this book to people who enjoy mystery books. This book won the Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery. If you don’t like mysteries then I would not recommend this book to you.
